Cane Corso puppies are obedient and loyal dogs, with training and socialization. Follow the below tips to make sure you train your Cane Corso puppies into obedient and stable dogs.

The first thing to remember with your mastiff puppy is that while it may be small in the beginning it’s going to grow into a big and powerful dog. It is important that from the beginning you let your Cane Corso puppies know who’s boss. When they first arrive at their new home they will attempt to test boundaries, and figure out their place or rank in your home. It is important that the pup is raised in a confident family unit. If the pup recognizes weakness in the family, they may try to dominate very quickly.

Apart from your own sanity, it is very important, to get the sleeping arrangements correct early on. Cane Corso puppies and other canines have a subconscious way of realizing their rank in your home according to family behavior. Do not let them sleep on your bed. This sends the signal that they are on an equal footing to you, as they sleep at the same level.

Instead make sure they sleep in a bed at ground level. This tip may seem trivial to people, but the puppy will definitely get the message, and it will help establish you as a strong pack leader.
